Promised, is the last book in the Birthmarked trilogy, written by Caragh O’Brien. This book was truly fantastic! Gaia Stone, the leader of Sylum/New Sylum, takes her town to the Enclave of hope of a new life for all of them. This story is about the tasks everyone does to achieve this goal!

This book consisted of much action, romance, and a little bit of almost everything. This book, like the others in the series is a major page- turner. I couldn’t wait to finish the book, yet I was sad, because then the series would be finished. This book was very hard to put down and it really met my expectations that I had, based on the previous two books. I am really surprised at how well the author did on all of these books! This series, currently, is one of my favorite series that I read this semester! Caragh O’ Brien did an amazing job!

I recommend this book/series to almost EVERYONE! I think that it is appealing to many ages of both genders. Caragh O’Brien is a fabulous author and this book/series just proves it! I really encourage the author to write more books like the Birthmarked series.
